Free Prayer Service

Editor’s Note: Reverend Dr. Sheri Perl is passionate about her free service that offers support to bereaved parents. This is one of the newer online resources for parents who have lost a child at any age for any reason. So regardless of whether your baby died due to miscarriage, stillbirth or post natal death, Dr Perl’s free prayer service is open to you. Now on to Dr Perl’s message…

On July 1, 2008 I lost my 22-year-old son Danny to an overdose. He was not a baby, but he was my baby.

In his honor I formed The Prayer Registry in order to direct mass prayer to deceased children every year on the anniversary day of their passing.  Please see my website: the home of The Prayer Registry and consider registering your loved one for yearly prayer.

There is no fee for this service and you are welcome to become a member of the Prayer Team and join in sending out prayers to all of our children on the other side. Also at my website you will find The Prayer Registry Photo Gallery where photographs of our children are posted in the month of their prayer date, as well as The Prayer Registry Network where we communicate as a group.
The Prayer Registry brings together parents from all over the world who wish to stay connected to their children through prayer. Each child’s name is printed on their passing date on The Prayer Registry Calendars which are public and can be seen by all of us. We link up in prayer for each child on their prayer date and the support is palpable.

This is one bereavement group that goes beyond sharing our pain to creating a positive force for prayer. We are the Prayer Team and we believe that our prayers are healing to our children as well as ourselves. If you are a bereaved parent, you are invited to become a member of the Prayer Team and join this wonderful group of prayer givers!
